
In the automotive world, the resounding failure of the Edsel Ford in 1957 remains asa case study. The Detroit group has apparently he concentrated all the blunders in a single model. However, after the success of the Thunderbird, Ford had put the package aside promotion. But then, the product was not up to the promise.
First, there is the name. Edsel was the name of the son of Henry Ford and the fatherof the president of the group.
