Attention! Radiation Cars for Sale in Japan

A number of officers checking radioactive in Japan recently had to work hard. After the events of the nuclear reactor explosion at the Fukushima Daiichi, Japan, earthquake and tsunami in the region, last March, a number of unscrupulous dealers found to replace the license plate and sell used cars that have been exposed to radiation to several regions in Japan itself.

As mentioned by the Telegraph that has become a tradition for a number of used car dealers in Japan to sell cars to Russia and Southeast Asia region. The government then banned and asked that the cars are irradiated destroyed in order to avoid contamination.

Last June, as reported by the same media, the Police Russia sends back a half-dozen cars from Japan after finding that the vehicles were radioactively contaminated.

As noted NBC Los Angeles Daily quotes Japanese, Asahi Shimbun, used cars that were irradiated and then sold in Japan alone after being banned for export. Around 700 cars are ready to send stopped by authorities at the port after known to contain the radiation that exceeds the 0.3 microsieverts per hour.

Even more surprising, a van recorded as a car from Iwaki (including the irradiated region) successfully sold out of the area. When tested, the van containing 110 microsieverts of radiation per hour or about 300 times the limit specified.

The dealer to replace the original number plates with new ones to trick the buyer. He himself claimed to realize his actions against the law, but still sell them because of economic pressures and are in desperate need of money.
